WebMar 5, 2010 · A big waste of money. You're better off upgrading the transmission at the same time as the engine swap. You will save yourself a lot of time and money. I disagree. The AX15 should stand up the the demands of a 350, but that's just my opinion. But he does make a good point. The AX15 is a medium duty transmission.
