WebFeb 3, 2014 · The CF on your heads says they were cast in the Cleveland Foundry. Windsor did not make SBF engines until model year 1966. With a 4A17 date code (17 Jan 1964) they sound like the earliest 289 heads ever made: C3AE-F. If so, C3AE should be on the bottom of the head but not the top.
