It runs along the top of a narrow ridge, but when it’s clear of snow and ice, it’s a pretty safe trail. WebDevil's Backbone was nice and not too crowded. People were friendly and accommodating on the narrow sections. We took the ski lift down ($20) as we were anticipating about 5 miles of walking on concrete back to the car. Thankfully, a nice couple named Steve and Lisa gave us a ride back and we returned back to the car around 12:30pm.
