Web1.1 Bus Service Improvement Plans (BSIPs) were introduced by the Department for Transport (DfT) in its National Bus Strategy, Bus Back Better, published in March 2024. This document provides the BSIP for Brighton & Hove. 1.2 The BSIP is a strategic document and its purpose is for the council and local bus operators to set out how bus services in WebEnhanced Partnership Plan and the Enhanced Partnership Scheme to align with the Bus Service Improvement Plan funding in anticipation of funding from the Department for Transport. 3.2 This report also seeks approval to delegate the decision, in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders, to accept the final funding award
