WebI'm not sure if this a new thing or not, but recently I've noticed an increase in emergency vehicles driving on the motorway with their blue lights on, but not flashing, they're just on solid. WebSpeeding on the motorway for a long time isn't really feasible there are that many cameras around, just stick to the limit and cruise. Yes, you are allowed to exceed the seed limit. You can’t (or technically shouldn’t) exceed the 70mph at any time. Some police cameras will give you a bit of a leeway, some won’t.
