WebThis project is easy, inexpensive, and takes only a minimum of time. Choose a place to hang the quilt rack, measure the distance between the two points. Mark the locations for each bracket on the wall with a pencil. Use a tape measure for accuracy. Using a small drill bit or nail make a hole at each marked location. WebCut a notch in the boards bottom that is 1 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep (centered). At the top, cut a similar notch that is 1" deep and 3 1/2" wide. The boards will be inserted into the bases to make stable legs. The top notch is for your quilting frames to sit in. Add clamps, fabric and tacks and you're all set.
